sick boa...any info appreciated

Hi. I purchased a 7ft female boa about a week and a half ago from some guy in the classifieds.

When I got the snake she seemed fine. A couple days later she had the worst craps I've ever seen on a snake. The smell was just plain awful. Luckily I quarantine all new animals for 30-60 days depending on who I buy from.

I have some panacur and flagyl on hand. I figured she has some GI issues.

I when I got home today she made a huge mess again. While I was taking her out to clean the cage. I noticed she's breathing hard. I think she has a respirotory infection too.

I need some help with this. I don't mind giving her meds. I figured I raise the temps and start dosing her every 2 days with panacur. If someone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Frank

I'd take her to a vet if you could. Those meds won't cover everything she could have GI wise and they won't do anything for a respiratory infection. For a snake with this many problems it sounds like you'll want to get the treatment right the first time if you can.
