Wondering if anyone had some suggestions?I have 1.2 3 1/2 year old tigers, they were cooled to 78 from oct through feb w/8hrs light 16hrs dark.Have been warmed up since march, been putting them together on and off since I started cooling them.So far the females get verry excited when put into the males cage, but I've only seen him attempt to breed once!!!HELP!!

Offer the females food, If they eat, then they aren't ready to breed yet. The male is not going to get very excited about doing his job until he knows one or both of them are ready (pharamones and whatnot).

Cooling can POSSIBLY trigger breeding, but nothing is etched in stone with retics.

Tail wagging followed by rubbing her butt all over him and the cage is bad, it means she is not ready.

You should however keep introducing the male into the females enclosures, this can stimulate them to start cycling if they know a viable male is in the "vacinity".

I'm glad someone finally replied, thanks!!I thought tail wagging and scenting was good, oops!!LOL!So,introducing the male to the females is better, the opposite of ball pythons?Well,I guess you learn something new every day!
Thanks again,Roger
