I think Rex is dying

lizzylizard Mar 14, 2004 06:33 PM

I think Rex is dying, I know he has been, I think he is dying right now. I just tried to give him some water and he started gaging and kinda convusling. His tougue is so white .

Aw never mind I just checked on him, he is dead. Thank you all again for your support,

Lisa

I'm sososososososososo so sorry for your loss. Even all those "so's" don't describe my sympathy and empathy. My very first leo died, so I can understand to some extent of what you are going through, although every different leo/"parent" relationship is different w/ a different degree of mourning.

I'm really sorry to hear about Rex's passing. It sounds like you did everything you could to save him, but it's still so hard to lose a gecko.

I'm sorry you had to go through this, and I wish there was something that could have been done to help. I truly know how hard it is to watch something you love suffer and die, and feeling so helpless. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

my heart goes out to you. If it makes you feel any better, take comfort in the fact that he is not suffering anymore. If there is a leo heaven, I’m sure he’s up there rattling his tail and chasing the angles.

Thank you all for your support. This form is amazing! I have never recieved so much advice from so many thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable people. I only had Rex so I probably wont be around, but I just wanted to say thanks again for all your support. I'm sure I'll be back if I get another leo. My best wishes to all of you and your leos, they are very special little creatures.
