General bullsnake opinion

Hello, I currently have a captive born bullsnake which is about 4 years of age, and he seems semi aggressive. I was told that they would become calm as they get older. Is this true? Or should I frequently handle him?

You can't go wrong with handling him frequently. He will get used being handled and become familiar with the fact that you do not pose a threat to him. All my bulls are dog tame.
