I live in TN near a creek and see a bunch of solid grey snakes like the color primer. I dont know what they are. Or if there posiness

Without more information, such as exactly where in TN you are and a more detailed description of the snake, it's hard to say exactly, but it could be a Yellowbelly Watersnake. They're harmless. None of the few venomous snakes in TN would be a plain, solid gray color.

Some Ringnecks don't show a well defined ring. The one's I've seen are small and a charcoal grey color. Racers that small would probably still be showing a pattern. Are the snakes smooth or rough scaled?
