why does it take 3 days for a corn to digest it's food? or maybe i should ask why do i have to wait three days after feeding to handle my corns? i understand they need time to digeat their fpood but three days seems like a lng time.

I handle my snakes EVERY day. Even the day after feeding.
You just need to be very carefull for about 24 to 36 hours after feeding. You can get them out, check them over real well, and handle them for a few minutes without problem. After 24 to 36 hours you can handle longer. Just be carefull. If you notice a bulge just above the cloaca, watch out, it is about time for it to eliminate.
Just be gentle and let your snake be the guide. You will both be fine.
