I really want to go to a herp expo but can't afford to go to southern california. Is there any in Northern California or in the bay area.

There is usually a few at the San Mateo fairgrounds. They are usually small and not really worth the five bucks to get in, no offense. There is one in Petaluma put on by NBHS which is pretty good for being small. The best one in N. Cal is the Sacramento show. I have been there every year since it started 6 or so years ago and it has become exponentially bigger and better every year. It started in 2 hotel rooms in a Redlion inn the first year and has become really great. Lots of good vendors. i think it is at the convention center in Sac now. Hope that helps.
