I havent experienced to much as far as Tokays chasing each other. If you have a male and female that are just introduced their could be some territory or courtship thing going on. I know when I first found mine had started breeding I was finding the tank torn up like chasing had thrashing had been going on but no wounds. If you continue to have this chasing going on I'd double check again to make sure you dont have two males, prob not your case, or just one very aggressive Tokay.
I do not remove the egss or hatchlings from the adults anymore. They are so cute interacting together. Unless you have one very hungry Tokay you never feed you don't have to worry bout the hatchlings being eaten by the adults. The hatchlings seem to do very well when left with the adults. I remove them after their around a month old so I can begin some handling of them, to hard to catch regulary in the adult tank. I posted this pic not to long ago, here it is if you didnt see it. Few day old hatchling hanging out with a 12" adult.
