As I sit here at the computer, both of my little uys are staring at me. My ornate's outh is open in what I have read might be a sign that he's too hot. However, the temps in the enclosure are right, so I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas?

I know with BDs when they hold their mouths open, sometimes it is a sign of a respitory infection.
When uros are basking they open their mouth to regulate the heat. It is like a dog panting. If your uro does this during day light hours I think it is just regulating it's body temp. This is called "Gaping". Not sure on spelling of that word.
