Just one more question

I really want to know what happened to Rex so that it doesn't happen again. However, I refuse to take him to the vet who we have been seening (the only herp-vet in town). I know that vet would not give me his honest opinion because it would be something that he missed. I want to know if it was parasites or an infection, can non-herp vets give this information? It would also be nice to be sure if Rex was a male or a female.

I'm not sure what happened to him but I just read all the posts below and I have to say it brings a tear to my eye! Best of luck with any other herp or animal that you get and keep in touch with us all at the leo forum!

Not usually you will probably have to take it to a exotic vet if you want to know but, keep Rex cool by putting him in a container or box then put the in the fridge.
