I know, poor picture quality, but here he his. Nearly patternless green and yellow, CBB, born this January. Good strong feeding response, and once he's out of his enclosure, very hand tame.

Looks a bit big for a ammy born this January...
I had babies drop on the 11th of January and the steady feeders are barely half that snakes size.
Do you trust the dealer/breeder that sold the ammy to you?
In a word, no. I didn't trust any of the breeders/vendors, I didn't know any of them. The vendor I bought the ammy from insisted that the snake was born at the very beginning of this year, bred off season in July. He was only one of two vendors I saw there even selling juvenile C. hortulanus. The rest were all peddling adult/subadult captures.
He just tips 14".
14" sounds about right for a neonate from January. I really dont see how you could comment about the size from those pics. There is no scale for comparison.
Thats a really nice snake. I love the ones with the colored bellies. I have never seen an adult ATB very much like that, though I have seen several juvies. I wonder how the color will change as it ages.
