Racks for leos

bigdee Mar 15, 2004 01:05 AM

Anyone build any wooden racks? I want to build a rack but nothing heavy like malamine. If you can post pics/plans it would help. I remember someone making a rack with plywood sides and melamine shelves anyone else go with this? Also Im hearing something about making space between the shelf and the boxes, How much space? what do some of you do to make the space? I have 6 leos and 1 good egg and need to make homes for them I plan to breed them. Tool I have are circular saw, drill and hammer any wood that needs to be cut I plan to have home depot cut so I would just have to put it together.

my idea is to have a 2x4 rectangular frame. Put screen or peg board spacers. Then put wood right under the pegboard to slide the rubbermaid container in. Then just wire up some heat tape with a thermostat. Thats just my idea of a cheap rack.
