Help Needed

I have an Iguana Juvenile that I had purchased about three months ago from our local petshop. After bringing him home I had noticed a small black spot that could almost not be seen.Asking the petshop and taking with a vet concerning this I had got no results and both said it is most likely a cut and scab and that spot eventually went away and I seen no more of it for about a month and half.Until one day he was acting quite strange and went off his food, yet he was shedding at this time. After he shed his skin I noticed several of those little black spots over his body especially his legs.Very soon those too went away and he got back on his feed and water like nothing ever happened. Now they have came back and aren't leaving. One of such on his mid back and one on his neck are quite large.Between those two points his spikes have grown none since purchase but the rest have grown normally along with the rest of his body. This morning though he is off his food, refuses to move at all, bask and climb like normal nor soak.I was wondering if by chance anyone knew what this was,if anything could be done I could find nothing on such symptoms and we no longer have a vet that will consider reptiles in our general area.

How large are these spots and how long do they last? Iguanas do turn a blackish green when stressed. Also, the do get some small black spots. As long as these aren't mites and they don't get bigger or blister. I think you are ok.

Are they like Louie's spots?
