last week my gecko was eatin fine, she wouldnt eat crickets cuz she got bored of them so i got her some waxworms as a treat. she loved em so ate the whole tub in about 4 days. I didnt buy her any more incase she got addicted to em, so i bought her some crickets thinkin she would be back on them by now, but she wont eat them.
two days pass and she still wont eat em, so i buy her some more waxies to make sure shes ok, but she wont eat them now either.
is she ok or do leos just go through a phase of not eatin for a couple of weeks then go back to eatin?
shes on sand (shes fully grown) , she is drinkin fine but maybe a little more than usual, shes not poopin but passing water. i guess she not poopin cuz shes eaten nothin.
other than not eatin shes fine. fat tail, colours a bit dull but thats it.

any help appreciated

jenni

They sometimes go off food for a week or more at a time.

She looks healthy, and very fat.

Give her a warm bath, she may be getting ready to shed, and it may help her pass a stoool if she's a little constipated. If she doesn't eat or poop for two weeks, I'd get concerned about impaction.

Your geckos is male? if is, this happen a lot when the male is separated from the female. Don't be to worried, your gecko will eat when is hungry. I can give you an important suggestion... don't feed your geckos with wax worms, this contain to much fat, that is not healthy for your geckos nutrition. only feed with wax worms that geckos that are very skinny.
