Suggestions welcome, having trouble>>>

Over the past week the temps have dropped alot here and despite cranking the heat my tank temps have been fluctuating just a bit to much for my liking. My father suggested we put the baseboard heater back into the room (took it out when we renovated). The only thing is that most of the geckos tanks/units are against the wall where the heater goes. If i keep it on low it'll keep the room warm all the time cause it has a thermostat, the space heater in use right now doesn't, just a dial that never seems to keep the temps the same regardless of where its set at.

I have to move out everything from the wall so the heater will fit but does anyone think that a constant low heat coming up the back of the tanks is going to be to much? I'm still trying to figure out how to rearrange things, yet again, because the switch for the heater is going to be hidden behind a unit thats not easily moved. I'm so frustrated with it all as i just got everything setup nicely and i've injured my shoulder pretty bad so moving things around is just a pain, literaly (even with help).

Any input on the effects of the heater on the tanks would be great.
Thanks
Red

I should have just put this out simply but i'm a stickler for rambling LOL

Should i move my tanks completely from the wall away from the baseboard heater regardless of the temps it generates?

I have no idea what a baseboard heater is, LOL but I'd say do whatever you need to so you can keep a steady temp for your babies.

HEHE a baseboard heater is a long heater that comes in different sizes placed along the baseboard (the trim that goes just above the carpet). Its electrical and is hard wired in with, at least in our house, its own fuse. This small town didn't have gas available until just resently but to install ductwork into a side split house is a real pain and my parents have opted to stay with electric heat. We have a wood stove that provides most of the heat for the upper levels of the house, but this level (what used to be the rec room) and the lower basement, now the laundry room only have electic heat. Both of these levels are underground with the old rec room level having a small window. The basement is all cement floor and very cold, which likes to travel up here. When we had the heater installed before the entire level was kept warm but since then we have broken it up (my current bedroom, gecko room, my moms sewing/craft room and a bar/fishing area for my dad). I won't have to turn the heat up much to keep a constant temp, just worried that with the tanks right in front of it, any rise will be to much and cause me to have the opposite problem. I guess i'll just hook it up again and see what happens. If i do find i have trouble i can always move the computer desk against that wall and move the geckos over. I really want this all setup perfect so i can show off pics LOL...
Thanks for your input
