"What size rubbermaid should i use for them do they need ventelation or can i just keep the rubbermaid closed??"

For 1000, a shoe box size would be fine. You should have some sort of ventilation, I just leave the tops open.

"What subtrate should i keep in thier i hear oatmeal but cooked?"

If you are going touse oatmeal, it should just be plain old quaker oats not cooked and dry. I use mixed flaked babyfood. If you are dusting at everyfeeding with a good product like the t-rex superfoods, you don't have to worry much about what you are gutloading your bugs with.

"I know they prefer cooler climates just like on a shelf roomtemp?"

On a shelf room temp is fine.
