your horned frog is fine, trust me it really doesn't matter if they hiberbate or not they are captive animals and should retain to thier proper lighting, the only time that you should lowering the temp. should be when, if your interested, your breeding horned frogs. Your frog will go into estivation for whatever reason either your home got to cold and it lowered your temp. in your tank, or its nature taking its place. My frog/s just like to burie in thier substraits and go under for 4-5 days, covering over so they can take in oxygen in which your frogs will do if they decide to hibernate, and then come up shed off their skin and eat it. so don't worry if your frog is not hibernating it really doesn't mean anything, but you might want to see how much substrait you have in your frogs tank because there might not be enough to burie down into, it should 2-3 inch. deep. i am sorry but when i said that your frog will go into estivation, up at the top my comp. kept eating the words every time i tryed to fix the sentance, so anyway it should be "your frog will aventually go into estivation."
