I just froze off my first batch of rats and I broke the juvi-rats into groups of two, and baged them in ziplock sandwich bags, 2 at a time. That means that each bag, is a feeding. I figure that this should bring the freezer life expectancy of the frozen food up closer to the vacuum sealed times, and much higher than the ones that have 50 rats in a 1 gallon ziplock. If you breed on a small scale, I would imagine that this is the bast way to go, unless you have your own vacuum sealer.
Also, not only did I package them in their own bags, I also placed them all in a tupperware container, to limit the amount of air and moisture that the bags see.
Just some food for thought. If anyone has any suggestions from their experience to make my system better, please post. I am always looking to improve things.
