Is this uncommon?

Kiana shed her head last week, but left what appears to be the skin from one scale unshed. She gets soaks every couple of days, and a little light brushing to remove bran dust, but this thing has stayed through all of it. I hope it's just a stubborn piece of dead skin and not a problem. I've just never seen anything like this from her before. Granted, she's only a year and a half old and she's my first dragon.

Other than this she seems very healthy... great appetite, lots of activity, and other "normal" bodily functions.

It may be her "third eye".
