Airborne Express says no?

Hi,
I called DHL that owns Airborne Express now and they said they didn't ship live animals but to call Airborne Express to ask if what remains of their shipping department does. The women on the phone said they do not allow shipping of live animals of any kind any longer. Does that sound right or is this just lack of knowledge of the representative? The rep put me on hold and claimed the information came from her supervisor.

I sent DHL/Airborne a query over the weekend, this is their reply concerning shipping turtles:
