feeding...a couple questions...

lilroach56 Mar 15, 2004 03:16 PM

Should the feeding make a bulge in the snake?
how often do you offer food to a 20" snake?

Showing a bulge after feeding is going to depend on the size of the meal. What size rodent are you feeding? For a 20" ball pythons I would be feeding average size adult mice depending on girth maybe a little larger than average. For a young ball python I would suggest feeding a decent sized meal every 5 to 7 days.

Hope this helps,
George Knaack
