Hey all!
I just thought I'd let you know about my herping jaunt yesterday. Well, to sum it up in one word,
it was great. I saw 5 Chuckwallas, about 7 Spiny Lizards
and WAY too many Side-Blotches. No HLs, but I saw some sign.
It was great. I didn't really go to catch anything, it was more
of a hike with my friend. I saw one Chuckwalla though.
I was like Ok, I gotta get a pic of this guy. I moved in closer, until I was within 3 feet of him and you know, he was just sitting there, so I PICKED him up. The only fight he put up was to puff himself up. When I was done with him,
I put him back, only to see him come out when we were further down the hill.
I wasted a whole roll of film on this trip so when its developed I'll post some pics for ya'll. It was fun. I hope all of you get to get out there soon. Its beautiful.
