Incubartor

Hey I need help putting my new havobator incubator together. I dont under stand how the disc thing makes the temp work. I know it spins to push down on the pin point shape on the inside but I don't know how to adjust it. The light means the incubator is on right? Does the the incuabator turn off and on to stay at a constant temp or does it give out a certian temp as I turn the screw?

The light turns on and off and I need to know if this means that it will turn on and off to stay at my chose temp.

Sorry I didnt word things right.
Thanks, Austin

i have a hovabator and your incubator sounds like mine. i will try to help you as best i can...to set it at the temp you want you turn the thing at the top until the light comes on, and then check it later after the light goes out. if it is too cold, you turn it some more just until the light comes back on...wait again...if it is too hot you just turn it down a bit...etc etc...

it kinda works like an oven. there is a sensor in it that can feel when it is starting to cool down and then the heat coil heats up a bit--until it is at the temp you want it. the light will come on when it is reheating. when it reaches that temp, the light goes back out again. my turns on and off quite often. but don't worry, it is doing it's job!

um...did this answer your question? i hope i didn't confuse you more...i'm not the best at explaining things...
