My cham is roughly the same age. For the past few days I have been putting in about 2 crickets each day, i house my crickets sepratley from my cham. I dust all of my crickets very lightley before putting them in his cage, but I believe that you can skip a few "dustings". Remember to try and remove any crickets he/she doesen't eat. It can become stressful for your veiled if they have crickets crawling all over them when there trying to sleep, or even worse, if your crickets are not feed, then they could try and bite your cham.
Hope this Info Helps, Good luck

Novices should really not be giving advice to other novices. It's dangerous. For example: it depends on what you're dusting them with! If you dust with vitamins every day you'll cause liver damage and kill him. I'd advise calcium once every few days and and vitamins about once a week. That will get cut back as he approaches adult size. Make sure he gets misted a LOT. And avoid any vitamins that contain pre-formed vitam A. Use one that has beta carotene instead (a precursor of vit A).
And please read the baby care article at www.adcham.com.

P.S. Feed him as much as he wants at this age but cut back as he reaches adult size.
advice taken.
P.P.S. IMHO Novices should not be sold a cham under 16 weeks. I consider it to be unethical as babies in the hands of novices have exceedingly short life expectancies. These guys are INCREDIBLY delicate. The smallest husbandry errors and you'll have a dead cham on your hands. You need to do a lot of reading very fast.
