New Ball owner question..

i have had my first ball python(first snake, not first reptile, have a healthy chameleon) for a week and am curious to how long after eating can or shoulld they be handled? he ate like lightning last night. he is 5 months old , almost 2 feet long and captive bred. it has been 24 hours since he ate and i can no longer notice a bulge in him( even thoug it was a nice sized mouse)any help will be appreciated..thanx....chris

I've always read & heard to wait at least 48 hours. I give my guys 72 hours just to be safe.
