I am not an expert, but I think the best thing to do is to contact your local Vet or a Pet Store that specializes in Reptiles. In the mean-time , keep a close watch on your cham as he/she could be acting unusual. Good luck , i hope your cham turns out to be okay.

Forget the pet store idea. They generally know NOTHING.
The vet is the best idea. However, rubbing the eye on a branch is not uncommon. This situation suggests to me that you are not giving cham long enough periods of misting. The mistings should last at least 5-10 minutes to give him a chance to properly wash his eyes out. It's also one of the best ways to hydrate your cham. Do it 2-3X/day.
If you provide details of caging, lighting, temps, set up, gut loading, supplementation schedule & type, etc., we might be able to give you more specific advice. If there is an eye problem it's just about always the result of some poor husbandry practices.
Just put it out of it's misery.. hammers work well man, or the freezer.
ha ha just kiddin... if it turns into an infection i heard saleen works really well. sorry if i offended any of u without a crude sense of humor..
