marksd Mar 15, 2004 05:02 PM

Whats everyone usinging for tubs for mice? How high are they? Seems like some sort of cat litter pan would work. I am wanting some not too deep so they can feed from the top of the cage in a rack.

Hi there I too have been using the van ness cat litter pans they measure 14X10 inches and 3 1/2 inches tall they work good if you are only wanting pinkies but if you are going to let them raise there young up to hoppers I prefer the cat litter pans at Dollar General or Big lots they are the same pan and cost the same as the Van Ness 2.00 a piece but these measure 20X14 and 4 inches tall alot more room you can keep 1 male and 6 females if you want to use the Van Ness ones you can get them at Walmart or Kmart hope this helps Paul

I use 17 X 12 X 4 cat litter trays with no problems, when the hoppers want to eat they just leap up and hand upside down onto the mesh to get at the food.
