Now this seems like a dumb question... I would never ever think about putting drums in my herp (mostly snakes) room at all. I have about 20 snakes and a couple lizards . Now my little little brother wants to get some drums and he asked me if he could put them downstairs in the snake room... I told him i dont know yet....... Do you think it would startle or scare the snakes. I was wondering if anybody can tell me why you would object to this situation..........thanks Joe

Definately a BAD idea. My snakes stay in my room so occasionally they have to put up with a little music. Any kind of vibration startles them, they dont even like Frank. Also my roomate plays drums and I play bass and we have a seperate band room which is a few rooms over from mine, his drums starle them a little even from a few rooms over but we have an old house.

My brother plays his electric guitar full blast in the room right next to mine and my snakes are having no problems or anything. I dunno if it would work in the same room but thats your call...
