Hovabator and eggs

merlin7676 Mar 15, 2004 07:51 PM

Well I have my llreptile hovabator hooked up and calibrated at 84-85 degrees and the eggs in the perlite deli cups...my question is do i still need to add moisture to the substrate? I put about a tablespoon in when I first put them in but will the perlite absorb moisture from the water at the bottom of the hovabator or is it still necessary to add some periodically? This is my first clutch so any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
merlin
