I am used to boas defecating seldomly, but when they do... oh god... Ya, you get the point.
I am new to pythons(this is my second), and he seems to defecate alot. Like, maybe 4 times a week. I saw him do it last night, and I see more and more soilings all over his enclousure... So, is this normal? I feed him about every 1-2 weeks and feed him 2 small rats.
And for humidity. He is getting dry and his nose is beginning to looked rubbed. I am going to soak him tonight and I have started to spray him pretty heavily 2 times a day. I hear 2 schools of thought when it comes to humidity for carpets. One is that they should have high humidity, and the other is they only need it when shedding. Anyone know?
Thanks in advance. He is an awesome snake.
