Ball python has dint in eye

cactuskent Mar 16, 2004 03:09 AM

Last night I noticed one of my ball pythons has a dint in the centre of its right eye, is this a serious problem? Is it most likely to be blind in that eye now? Is vet help needed, do you know what this could be or has she just "Poked" herself in the eye?
thanks

Dehydrated.

Thanks for the help, How can I rectify this?

1) Rehydrate the snake.
2) Correct the husbandry mistake(s) that led to the snake being dehydrated in the first place.

Thanks for the help, how do I go about rehydrating? More water/humidity (considerably) and less heat?

To bring up humidity, you dont drop heat. You add more water, and if anything, more heat to evaporate more water. To get this done, what you have to get rid of is air circulation. only allow very little amouts of air in and out of the enclosure.
