Ive been planning to go to the noah reptile expo for a vary long time, because i wanted to expand my herp collection by getting a tortoise so i went there on sunday and looked around and didnt see any tortoise vendors at all. When i was about to leave i herd a guy tell a kid that he was about to bring out some baby leopard tortoises so i walked over to the vendor and asked if i could see the baby tortoises he said ok he brought them out and the were so cool, so i picked out the one i thought looked the healthest and bought him , he cousted me $115.00 but i think it was worth every penny. The tortoise is pretty active he had problems getting around his turtle table because i was using that bed a beast crap and it was like him trying to climb over a mountain, so i got rid of that stuff and now hes on paper towls so i can monitor his defications, speaking of that this morning a saw him deficate at first i didnt know what the heck it was untill i looked closer it was so small im used to beardie tirds , but i collected the fecal and im going to do a fecal smeer with it at my school to check for parasites. Sorry for the really long post but im just so excided that i got my new herp. Oh yah i have one question about my little guy the vendor i bought him from said he/she is around a month old,its shell lenth is 3 inches exact does that sound right? THANKS
