Bulging Cloaca, is this normal? (more)

boidsntegus Mar 16, 2004 11:08 AM

My juvi BW has a little bulge to his vent. I am wondering do any of your tegus have a bulge, or is the vent flat and even with the rest of the bottom? It's too young to be a hemipenal bulge, right? He was born July 2003 and hibernated for 5 months. Temps, humidity, feeding all excellent. Don't know if I should worry or not. May take him to the vet Friday unless you guys think this is normal.

I don't have a camera, I have always had to borrow one. It is not a huge bulge, maybe 1/4 inch from his belly level. I just need to know if anyone's tegus bulge at all, or is it supposed to be perfectly flat?
