Well it almost halfway done. Each individual pen is 8'x8' and takes 20 bags of mulch. After I spread the mulch I will put in the furniture. Then I just have to make up my mind how to enclose the top.

Saweeeet. I tell you, if I owned house, I would be asking you for plans right about now. Good looking "pen". Will you be able to keep them outside year round?

I have 2 pair right now that already live outside year round. On nights were it drops below 55 they get a heating pad in their cave. This setup is actually a larger version of the pens I use now.

Where do you live? I live in Louisville KY, and I plan on buying a house in the next year or two. I have illusions of my own little zoo in my backyard. I would like to have a couple more tegus and maybe some tortoises, but I don't know if that would work this far north. It can get below 0F in the winter.

I am in Miami where temps rarely drop below 40. I would not house any reptiles outdoors where temps fall below 40 on a regular basis. I use heat pads at night on those rare occations. You could have meager indoor housing for the winter as they spend most of it sleeping.
