What kind do you use for non-adhesive shelf liner?

jcunitz Mar 16, 2004 03:18 PM

The paper towels are just not working very well. The crickets have a ball instantly hiding under the paper towel.

So after work today, I'm going to Lowes to pick up some non-adhesive shelf liner. I've seen a couple of different kinds. One looks kinda like a waffle pattern with little indents (could 2 week old crickets still manage to hide in the indents?), and the other has a smooth surface, but looks like it could be slippery (can a beardie slip on this?).

Here's an example

What kind do you think would be best to use?

Also by any chance does anyone out there know what the dimensions are on a 20 gallon long tank?
The shelf liner comes in 2 different widths 12 inches and 20 inches.

Thanks for all of your help!

a 20L is 30 x 12 1/2 Inside is actually more like 12 x 29 1/2. The shelf liner you use does not have any holes in it, but it is not perfectly smooth either.

Sorry, Hope that helps

Thank you so much for your response. Silly me, I didn't even notice that Lowes showed a second page for the shelf liners. My baby beardie and I thank you!
