Do they work? Are they worth it?

I use it for mapping the temperatures across the floors of my breeder tanks, checking the highs/lows in each enclosure in the racks, and the actual surface temperatures of the eggs in the incubator, to name a few.

These things are incredible. What feels just a little warm to the touch could be 100 degrees! I use it with my heat lamps to dim them to the perfect spot temperature, and I use them for my heat tape to make sure the thermostat is calibrated right. Also, they are great for getting the reptile's skin temperature. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with this little $25 tool.
