New pic of my Taiwan

He was doing the super slow tongue flick hoping I had a nice rat for him. One of my favorite snakes- great temperament and very active.

Cool snakes. I'm waiting for my first pair of them right now. I've been looking at getting some for quite some time and just now got around to getting a pair, and lucky for me they are already breeding sized, which help a lot. One of my female blues has already been hooked up with my male, I haven't seen any action with the new female I traded one of my hatchlings for however. But one is better than none...and if the taiwans do their thing for me too, then hey...what a combo! You've got some real good looking snakes though...think I might just go drool at that picture some more....

Good luck with your new pair! They are really wonderful snakes to keep. Hope the blues lay a nice clutch for you too!

Yeah, I've been looking for a pair for some time now, but haven't been able to get my hands onto any...untill now. And looks like the female may be gravid already...she's thicker than the male but not having them very long yet, I'm not sure what her "usual" thickness is. My original female blue layed 17 eggs for me las year, and she never really "showed" like my corns or other snakes do, even though she had some pretty decent sized eggs. So I'm going to go ahead and prep a laying box just in case after she sheds and hope for the best!
