Yours may be"Anery like". I would have to grow yours up a breed it to prove it has any genetic recessive trait for anerythiristic. This is a pic of an anery I owned. Good luck with yours .............Richard

That is exactly the manner in which a presumed trait expression that is serendipitously produced by a random pairing, should be approached!!!! there seems to be a trend within our hobby, and,it also happens with those that breed other species,(Ball Pythons, especially.)that every single variation from "normal",(which is seldom defined) must automatically be a genetic morph/mutation,they are often being labled as such, without any breeding trials,by people that do not have a basic understanding of the fundamental characteristics,or,criteria for the terms they are using! it is entirely possible for spontaneous anomolies to occur,or,result from a random breeding, however,it needs to be proven, reliable through subsequent breeding, prior to jumping to conclusion...if this isn't done...be prepared to support your theory with something substantial, without having a psychotic episode,or,a personality meltdown, every single time a question is raised!!! anyone can call a banana,a grapefruit, but, gulibility will,at some point, give way to at least a question,or,two?(I would hope???)anerythristic appearence can also be produced by a combination of hypoerythrism, and, hypermelanism. the way to find out if that may be the case,is by further breeding of the animal(s),rather than reaching for outdated price lists...that's just my opinion...your milage may vary?
THE ONLY REASON I USED PETE'S PRICE LIST WAS TO DEMONSTRATE A TRUE EXAMPLE OF ONE OF PETE'S ANERY'S. I DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHERS BESIDES THIS ONE THAT POPPED OUT LAST SEASON. I AM KEEPING HER AND WILL HOPEFULLY BREED HER WITH SOMETHING AS SPECIAL. WE WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO MAKE UP A NEW NAME AT THAT TIME.......LOL!
Bill that stand out, hold back boa when it grows up could be matched up with whatever you want. That is the power we hold in the breeding choices we make. If yours turns out to not be an anery imagine if you bred it to a true anery. Wow the hets would definately produce some smoker anery's I'm sure. Good luck with your snake.......Richard

I LOVE Anerys! Out of all the different morphs out there with their stuning colors & albinos...ect, I havta say the Anery boas are my favorites!
This is my male in the pic. I have 1.2 unrelated. For some reason, out of 40+ boas, mostly morphs,my anerys are by far the most nervous & slow growing! I don't have a clue to why that is! My anerys eat as much & as often as the rest of my boas but, remain to be outgrown by my other boas.
I've had 1.1 of them for over 4 yrs now, ever since they were babies.Thier handled, not daily. They have hide boxes, same heat & caging as my other boas.
Do YOU own Anerys like MINE.....OR out of alL the Anerys out there, mine are paranoid psycho neurotic nuts ?! I love em & enjoy working with em. I guess thats ALL that really matters : )
I'm begining to think my wife acts like my Anerys more & more each day.......My Anerys won't breed either....just like my wife too. How Ironic .
Yall Take Care,
Dave @ East TN Reptiles

Do You still have it? I hope my anery keeps contrast like that with age, but expect her to "brown out".
Who produced that animal, its very unique in pattern, ect. If you do have it still, and want to come off it....hint hint...lol.
