Ok, here's my plan. I'm building my bearded dragon a huge enclosure sometime within the next few months. And once he moves in, I'll have a 36L-18W-15T tank with no one to live in. Now, I was thinking... would it work if I stood it on one end to make it 36T-18L-15W? I have one of those black wire lids with the 2 wire doors on them (the bars are very close together. I thought I could glue a thin piece of Plexiglas at the bottom to keep the substrate from falling out and just have the lid sitting face first... would it work? And do you think medium crix could get through? I can't find a pic of one of the lids, but I'll find one and post later... if it doesn't work, I'll just use a screen

yes.....crickets wil def. get throught there, you'd be suprised what they can squeeze through.
