heres Trinitys enclosure, the substrate is "Wheatena" its a wheat cereal that she has been on for 8 months with no problems at all

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR GECKOS TO POSE LIKE THAT LOL ITS NOT FAIR I I HAVE TO SNAP THE PICTURE AND PUT THEM AWAY, OR CATCH THEM LOL..

Wow, very cool viv setup....I've been entertaining the thought of doing that with my Fattails as the rack setup I got really hides them and I think they are too cool to hide away like that...

Your "substrate is "Wheatena" its a wheat cereal" can you eleborate on that a bit more? What is it exactly? Where you got it? Brand name?

I'm curious about the substrate too. I have calci sand in my enclosure, but from everything I've read I am going to switch to something else.

as for the substrate questions
"wheatena" is a wheat grain hot cereal that you can get at probably any supermarket, i use it with by beardies also, never had any problems with it, when it gets wet it gets really soft and gooey and pretty much desintigrates(sp?) so my guess it the leos can digest it well, i know i've seen her miss crickets and get mouthfuls of this stuff and yet she's poop it all out the next day,

do you mean the thing OUTSIDE the tank?, if so, those are racks

I took a better look and i see the container now LOL, it has a rock or something on top of it. I had just got up when i saw the pics so i wasn't totally awake yet LOL
In my girls 40 gal tank i have their two humid hides hidden in the back under a second level i made and behind a large log. I really need to get pics posted, i'm very happy with the setup.

LOL, yeah i'd really like to see some pics of your setup,
belive it or not when i woke up i checked the site and looked at the pic i posted of her setup and the area with the humid hide and the drifwood on top confused the hell outta me untill i figured out what it was....LOL that makes me sound like a nut case...lol but hey...i was up too early...lol

hehe, naaaaaaaa not a nut case, just tired. I totally understand that. I can curl up and fall asleep at the drop of a hat most days...lol

I've got a web cam that can take still pics. I'm going to see if i can take some pics tonight when i get home, the save the images to the other computer and see if its better quality than what i see with this computer. Hopefully i'll have pics soon
