so i just bought a used filter on eBay. after looking at the manual on the Eheim website, i think i need to buy additional parts for it. at least, i need to buy tubes and a suction device, since i don't want to be swallowing water to get it started. what else do i need? i've attached a link (below my name) to a picture of what i have so far.

i've never had an Eheim or any other canister filter before, so i am totally in the dark as to how to work this contraption.
