I have a juvenile crested gecko. I am going to a reptile show next month and want to get him a roomate. Does it have to be another crested gecko (female of course) or is their any other species that he can be housed with? Thanks for the help!

How about a gargoyle, seems to me gargoyles and cresteds should get along pretty well. You also might consider anoles (see post below dated Mar 15 re. Tokay cagemates) assuming you have a large enough enclosure.

That guy was talking about a knight anole, your garden variety anole would last 5 seconds with an adult crested. Just wanted to clarify.

I looked up some information on knight anoles, but quite a few sites say that they are very aggressive and that they can eat small baby mice when they are adults. And that they also eat small lizards. I don't know if I would want to put one of those in with a crested (not that I have one now, lol a few more weeks until the show and I'll be picking one up!) Just thought I would throw this out there.
