The little male with the gangrenous tail had his surgery yesterday. All went well and he was interested in food last night. He is recuperating with our vet friend, Jen, until we can pick him up this weekend. Everyone else is doing good and eating well. Poos are looking more normal now that they are eating fresh foods but they are a little soft. At least the horrible smell is gone!!

Poor guy! I hope people think long and hard before they decide to "breed" any animal, if they aren't able to cope the animals are the ones that pay the price. Hope he does well, along with the rest of them.

Glad you got that taken care of before it went up any higher. I wish you luck with the new rescue. Really good he's starting to eat a bit after such a bad infection like that. Good Luck with him I'm glad he got the care he so desperately needed, and I hope he heals up fast from that.

Im glad to hear that hes doing better. Thats such a sad story but im glad there are people like you that go out of their way for these animals. Without you, these guys prolly would be looking at a grim future.

On another note. Sissy is doing so well. i cant begin to tell you the joy she had brought to our home. She is now part of our family.

thanks again, and keep up the good work

She's always been a sweetie! Please keep us updated. We have two parties interested in adopting the tailless male, one of which is the doc that did his anesthesia! LOL I hope to find wonderful homes for all of them.
