Well Bronx went through another shed and yet again there was skin left over on his toes......
I had enough of this, constantly having to take him out and soak him. The little brat never uses his humid hides. So i replaced ALL of his hides with humid hides filled with vermiculite. Now i didn't remove the log thing i made so go figure thats where he's been hanging out...
Whats funny is that he's currently on top of the log, staring down the humid hides, almost as if he's saying to himself "i would like to go in there, but thats exactly what SHE wants" LOL
With three humid hides he's bound to like one and hopefully shed without trouble.
Oh by the way, i got the baseboard heater installed again (wiring oh what a joy LOL). The room is now a constant 75 degrees. (to this Canadian, thats hot LMAO)
I have a question for everyone lol, when providing a lay box, how deep do you usually keep the bedding? I've had a bit of a problem in that the deeper the bedding the lower the temps and i've got the UTH turned up as high as it will go. I'm worried that the floor will become to hot as i try to up the lay box temp.
Thanks all
