Incubating turtle eggs

Can anybody give me instructions on how to incubate turtle eggs. I need to know everything and i need to know right away. I do not have an incubator so I will need specifics on how o do this. They are for an ornate box turtle.

don't turn them. this can kill the embryos. mark the top of the eggs with a pencil or magic marker so you can keep them in the same orientation. put them in a sweater box with moist vermiculite. sink them into the vermiculite about half way. the box should have some air holes in the side and a top. check them periodically so they don't dry out. if they get dry spray the vermiculite around them with water. you can keep them around 80 degrees. although i usually just keep them at room temps. they should hatch around 70 days, but this can vary quite a bit depending on the temperature. good luck. rin
