Dear all, i just noticed that my leopard gecko has a very inflamed eye, it is about twice it's usual size and looks like a small red marble. im thinking its something he will probably need to go to the vets for, he is about a year old and lives with his fellow sibling of same age but they do not fight, i have taken photos so check out this web address: -

The only thing that could help your gecko is a vet. Take it to a vet as soon as possible. They will be able to help him.

Your gecko has a hyphema - I did that playing racquetball a few years back. The RX was cover the eyefor 3-5 days. It's usually caused by trauma, hopefully no underlying infection. Good luck with it, I had a full recovery within a week. Pretty scary though.
