You are so lucky! I'm still trying to get mine to breed. I have no idea if they are or aren't! Tell me, what are your methods???

Well, they are not harder to breed than Corns. In fact many people succeed with Russians where they fail with corns. ALl you have to do is hibernate them and introduce them one week after warming up.

GREAT...I really love this species. Even if it is one of the easiest species, they are absolutely lovely. I keep 2,2 myself and mating has begun....looking forward to getting eggs myself.
Many regards to you.

Inderdaad gefeliciteerd. Het wordt zeker weer een interessante periode. Wij hopen ook op eieren, maar we hebben nog niets van onze "Russen" (Dione Russen). Ik neem aan dat je Schrenki's hebt?

Hi Wim,

Yes, Elaphe schrenkcii schrenkcii. The easiest snake to breed in my humble opinion.. You have a great website. Never seen so much detailed info on Diones.. I hope you will have eggs soon.

Marcel
