how do you tell the difference between a cranwells horned frog and an ornate horned frog as babies?
does anyone have any pictures of comparisons?

From what I know, by the colors. The Cranwellis have a duller color even into adulthood. An ornate is never albino and is usually more brightly colored like in green and dark red. You can run a search on this site too.

cranwells=broader head in comparison to body. normally drab but can have bright colors including yellows, greens, reds, browns, etc. longer horns. only cranwells are albino.
ornates=smaller head/larger body. normally crimson red. smaller horns.

So does that mean I do not have an ornate horned frog? That's what I was told he (or she) was. What is the difference in care, etc? Thanks!

Care is the same. There has not been an albino gene isolated in the ornata species.
