Hi. I found out the snake i bought is a desert king. It is a male and about 3 ft 7 in. He shed today and i measured the skin (full shed), so the length is a rough estimate. I didnt stretch the skin out when i measured it, so it should be pretty close. He is very tame and pretty. I just fed him, which he has killed the mouse, but hasnt eaten it yet. So now im just waiting...lol. I will attach a pic of him (its one of him before he shed, i'll get a better one soon.)

Desert kings are great animals. I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of him after he sheds. Measuring a shed isn't even a close estimate of length. The shed is usually a lot longer than the actual snake because the skin is stretched quite a bit as the snake peels it off.

and that is a nice looking desert king!
One bit of friendly advice, its not a bashing so dont take it as so.
Dont feed your snake live prey. If it is a CB snake, then it is probably acclimated to FT mice. Live mice can inflict pretty nasty wounds on snakes, and even kill them if bitten in the head.
I have seen a snake that had lost an eye due to a mouse bite. So I would feed FT, afterall, we all want whats best for our pets, be them cats, dogs, snakes, or whatever.
