Jungle Boa Male

zx7trev Mar 17, 2004 07:20 PM

All,

I picked up this nice Male a while back, and he should be good to go next season. Take a look and tell me what you think. I am looking to pair him up with at least two females next year. If you were me, what would you cross him with? I am hoping to find at least 1 similar female. What else would you cross her with?

Thanks,

T~

Ok,

Besides your being a rude prick, I agree that this might be a normal, but it is an awesome abberancy that I can't call anything but a Jungle, though your right, I don't claim "yet" that it is a True Jungle Morph, because I have not bred it yet. If I were selling it as this, you could jump me, but right now, I am just trying to identify it. SO, the tail is striped...the back is perfect blocks with no side patterns, the 1/3rd behind the head is a wierd, mottled pattern that I think could be stretched the entire length of the animal because the "blocks" seem similar in pattern to the Mottled area. The point of the post is, I think it looks pretty sharp, it IS quite inheritable through line breeding, and I would like to find some sililar females. Think you can help a brother out if you have seen any similar animals, or would you rather just continue to be a giant, annonymous rudeboy?

Sorry for getting pissy. Seems like lately whenever anyone post's with something that is not the norm, they get slammed all the time. My apologies.

That boa has a great pattern and all but it is not a jungle.
I hope you didn't pay a Jungle price for it.

That is why the comment about breeding to a Cagle Cungle was
made. Just a nice pattern on a nice looking boa.

Thanx

Not sure if you would call it a Jungle, or a stripe type boa, but I am pretty sure it is Genetic, so I have to disagree with you. This is not a singular abberant animal as it came from a clutch where several of the babies had an identical looking weirdness, as did one of the parents, so it is definately Genetic. The problem is I can't find any of thos female siblings. Thats why I am hoping someone else see's it and thinks they have a similar animal, so I can line breed this abberancy. I can call it a Dice Boa or something if you don't like the term Jungle, but most folks would call this a Jungle I assume, just for lack of a better term.
